Making Money with Your Web Site
How can I profit with my web site?
-
There are different methods of making money, but they are all based on the same principle: sales bring in cash.
If you don't have an own product to sell, you can find advertisers willing to pay you for traffic or referrals.
Where can I find an advertiser?
-
If your site is not popular, you will have trouble finding a direct advertiser.
One alternative you may consider is joining an affiliate/advertising program.
Such programs are sustained by advertisers whose ads (links, banners,
pop-ups or so on) can be displayed on your site for profit.
Joining is usually free, but the program will typically keep about 30-40% from the
amount that an advertiser is supposed to pay you.
How can I sell products online?
-
Many companies offer you to become an affiliate and sell their product(s) for a commission. They take care of delivery and support, while you supply the customers. If you had your own product to sell, all of the profit would go straight to you. It is important that your product sells and that there isn't too much competition in your niche. Making tremendous profits from costumes for overweight clowns would be impossible because the total demand will be inadequate.
Breaking in the book-selling industry would also be difficult considering that Amazon owns 90% of the market. Because books are relatively cheap, you'll need to sell massive quantities in order to compete.
